My name is Niso Graumann. I am a mother of 2 wonderful girls, and I am a certified digital marketing manager, web designer and web developer.
Due to my husband's work, I have been in many countries. I know what culture shock is and I know that poverty is not something exotic. I have met a lot of people on my way - full of love and at the same time with an overwhelming level of anger, hate, and intolerance.
But the only thing filled me with sadness-the abysmal ignorance of history and cultural heritage. I truly believe that "without knowing the past, you won't understand the present and won't be able to forecast the future".
People destroy the monument and build high-end hotels and restaurants instead. Silk Road is the greatest route of mankind. I would like to make my contribution to protecting a Silk Road Route by helping you to understand its importance plunging into its history, exploring secret trails and tasting the food.
"Cultural heritage is giving the people a better understanding of the previous generation and giving a sense of personal identity".
This website was developed and designed with the help of my expatriate friends in Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Germany, France, Poland, Russia, and the USA. Particularly I appreciate the assistance of my beloved friends the spouse of EU Professional Staff Member Olga Bernhard and the spouse of ADB Professional Staff Member, Anna Sekowska Livny.
Every stone on the Silk Road route has its history.
Please take your time, share your stories with us, share our stories with your friends and provide feedback.
